I keep seeing posts like this and getting confused. I’ve fought him 3 times and intentionally kept punching the grenade to blow him up, but I never have been able to. I assumed you couldn’t blow it up and left it at that until all these Reddit posts. Maybe I’m just a bad aim? Lol
