I recently learned challenge mode medals in Days Gone earn buff patches that show up on your jacket while in the main game. Kinda like Death Stranding.
I think it's a genius idea that rewards the player and got me to engage with the arcade mode waaay more.
Once I found out I could earn patches that gave me buffs in the game I did nothing else til I got them all.

Wow, I played through that whole game when it was a new release, and I never noticed…
The new patch made the game look sharper better textures, ALOT of weirdos were saying the PS4 game looked better and devs shut their ass up, the patch is 18 gigs btw
When you skip the tutorial and immediately go on the hardest mission 🤣
