Absolutely, and I think they should add Train after removing vertigo as it is also being played more in top tier CS.
Inferno is dead too, mostly players play d2 and by that I mean 99%
Casual is completely fucked atm. You play Dust2, after that people vote mirage just to change the map to Dust2 again
I want dust 2 back on its own for dm….
Swap it with Nuke, it would’ve been perfect.
Having played more casual yarn competitive the past year, Vertigo is crazy popular in casual. Beyond me why, but it gets fired for and played a lot.
Putting dust 2, inferno and mirage in the same group was a mistake though.
Casual should be separate in it’s approach from competitive.

just move dust and mirage to defusal group beta and keep just vertigo in defusal group alpha to better represent those map’s player bases
Yeah, but it doesn’t matter, people won’t vote for it anyway. They added dust to the other maps, just for people to play mirage and dust. I don’t see the point.

Just give me back dust 2 exclusively man, it is a much better map for deathmatch.

Yeah, it’s a bit off. Based on popularity, it’s going to end up played a lot less when it’s competing with mirage and dust2.
Still think it was weird to take dust2 out of it’s own pool, it was fine where it was-keeping it out of the pool meant that people who were looking for dust2 24/7 were in that pool. Now they’ll just turn any match in alpha into a dust2.

the third tier is the worst though, two cool maps but f that lets just play agency hostage. yeah it looks awesome but hostage maps are just a buzzkill in 10v10 especially
