Used to live in Japan and discovered GEO, a video rental and sometimes cellphone shop that also happens to sell games. And sell them cheaper than Bookoff or basically anywhere else.
Now, I just visit Japan annually, but I make sure to hit up a GEO or 2 when I’m here. Living in UK with a very advantageous currency exchange rate (£1 = ¥191), here’s what I got and what I paid in pounds.
Star Wars Outlaws (new): £10
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 (new): £23
Dragon Quest III 2D HD PS5: £15
Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom: £23
Nintendo World Championships: £10
Grand total: £81.
Would’ve cost £165, realistically, and UK usually has affordable physical game prices – especially vs. the US.

the Dragon Quest cover is very beautiful, anyway Expedition 33 and (especially )Echoes of Wisdom are great games!
