As a former hack n slash enthusiast
while this look cool, genre has gotten a bit stale and simplistic, combat systems a bit more complex with RPG elements have taken over for me.
man i gotta find some time to get into the ninja gaiden series
I trust platinum but not crazy about those environments.
I just replayed 1…. Then slogged through 2. Not sure I’m excited

After playing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, this feels inferior
I know this is not prime PlatinumGames of yore, but I am cautiously optimistic as it at least *appears* like the classic PG dodge and parry system is in play. Here’s hoping.

As a life long Ninja Gaiden superfan, I think I’m actually looking forward to the new Shinobi game more.
honestly this is the last chance platinum has for me. all the big names are gone and their recent games have mostly been disappointing. if this game turns out to be another disappointment i’m done with platinum.
