    I think more than that it’s the case that once a narrative gets set about you it’s takes time to change that narrative. Happens to players in other sports too where if they have a series of bad games people start clowning on them and it takes a long time for them to redeem themselves even if they start playing well.

    Look, I love Hooxi, but when he left G2, they had gone MONTHS without winning a trophy or even making it to a final. The FIRST tournament that he gets replaced by a washed stewie2k, they immediately win. Then, after getting Snax, who is a mediocre caller and a bad player, they go on to win two more trophies.

    Yes, Hooxi was vital for reviving G2 and getting them their first trophies in years. But you also can’t ignore some of his shortcomings either. I think he undoubtedly is a great IGL, but getting kicked out of G2 wasn’t a bad choice imo

    I think the real reason, tbh is the young age of many players.
