The cinematic trailers looked stunning, but I really want to see some gameplay… Maybe at Summer Game Fest this year?

Was not on my radar as far as coming this year.

I completely forgot this was even an announced project so I’m not surprised it’s not coming out this year. We haven’t really seen anything about it.

I’m glad the game is getting time to properly develop, but I have to ask….who really wants to play as a WWII soldier or a Dora Milaje warrior in a game where you can already play as Captain America and Black Panther? I don’t quite understand that design choice.

Sure, I can see how it might work in the context of the story, but instinctively, I’d rather see development resources focused on fully realizing the core heroes. At the end of the day, I just don’t see how playing as a soldier or warrior could compare to playing as the actual superheroes, and god help me if those side characters end up being more fun than Cap or T’Challa.

Not really surprising sadly. This game was revealed 3 years ago and hasn’t released a single second of gameplay despite the year being halfway over and originally targeting Christmas 2025, according to Khary Payton. I’m just glad it wasn’t canceled.

    Expected.

Complete absence of anything related to it since that GDC in-engine cinematic demo.

Risky. The GOTY will automatically go to GTA no matter how good it is.

Heard it’s because Drumph is mad Hydra are the bad guys.

It was already 82 years late, what’s another couple of months?

More like one thousand nine hundred and forty three years in development! Ha! Got ’em!

I’ve never heard of this. Interesting. Hopefully they’re just working to get it right and it’s not a disaster behind the scenes.

  12. Great

Shut it down and film something people want to watch.
