Hey chooms!
I’m a student at a technical university, and for an assignment, we got the chance to create a custom machined piece on a CNC.
We had to find or design a pattern, model it, write the G-code, and then use a CNC milling machine to engrave it onto a 50 mm aluminium disc. Of course I went with a cyberpunk design. I spent quite a while going through the game, looking for symbols, logos, and patterns that I liked and would be doable with my knowledge. Eventually, I settled on these elements you see here.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go perfectly at first. In our initial run, we incorrectly set the tool length offset, and… well, the machine plunged the tool straight through the entire piece. No one got hurt, and thankfully neither the tool nor the machine was damaged. We restarted with a fresh aluminum blank and did it properly the second time. You can also see the damaged workpiece among the pictures.
Luckily it turned out amazing in the end and I’m super happy with it.

Oh nice the relic logo
This is really cool!! I like the blending of the Relic symbol and V (assuming that’s what you were going for haha)
