$1k for a new GPU you say? Then its ultra LOW settings and No details for me! I’ll game in 720 dammit

  2. veryfoxvixen

I imagine it’s gonna run like ass even on newer higher end cards.

  3. Gameskiller01

it’ll be 2027 at best before it’s on PC I’d be wanting to upgrade anyway around then

  4. Telepuzique

never been happier to know I could not care less.

  5. MyPokemonRedName

My RX 6700 XT GPU, and R9 7950X CPU combo is unreasonably balanced. Why would I ever upgrade? /s

Well, they are targeting a base PS5, so we should be fine.

We will rather be going back to 30FPS gaming.

  7. AI_IS_SENTIENT

Playing older games makes your GPU feel / look good..

    GTA V: 2013.
    PS3: 500 mb total RAM.
Average Windows 7 midrange PC has 1 gb vram graphic card and 4 gb RAM, but GTA V needs 8 gb RAM.

    RDR 2: 2018 console, 2019 PC.
The 2017 GTX 1050ti 4gb and 2016 GTX 1060 6gb performance were much better than the 2013 console hardware.

Maybe you need 12 gb minimum VRAM for Ps5 era.

  9. And CPU. Look and BG, Star Wra Outlaws and Dragon Dogma. How they hammer the cpu in areas with a lot of NPC’s. Now apply that to GTA and double the 30fps frame rate of the consoles ….

Monster hunter wilds demanded a new card from me. Didnt buy one since lots of people had stuttering and performance issues with a 4080.

It’s just modern gaming. Everything runs like ass

In 2030 when it gets to PC I will probably be way to poor or dead or trying to figure out what to do with all my free time and get GTA6 for PC out of nostalgia when they finally release it.

  12. CommenterAnon

My RX 9070 XT will be able to get 60fps just fine

  13. TxM_2404

I have the same GPU architecture as the PS5, just a little faster. I hope I can profit off some AMD optimizations.

  14. jimper09

Shouldn’t be too bad if that trailer was all on a PS5. Will probably need FG & DLSS for get above 60fps at 1440p.

  15. LigmaAss69

They want a wide playerbase. I still remember the days of the shitty GTA IV port which I had to run in like 480p on my toaster to get playable FPS. I highly doubt RT will be madatory.

  16. adkenna

If its out next year I don’t think it’ll be too bad tbh.

  17. Jejiiiiiii

Steam : most users are using low-midrange gpus

Developers : Did you say high end gpus?

  18. fieryfox654

    I have a 6700XT, upgrade from a 1060. I play on 1080p, should be more than enough.

“You’ll need to buy a playstation if you don’t wanna wait an extra 3 years for PC release.”

  20. Zappenhell

At least you have another 5 year time to save for a new graficcard.

  21. TheDrop_

I’m excited for the graphics but I doubt I’ll have much interest in the story. I’d love a return to the gritty atmosphere similar to 4.

  22. MilliumOne

To be fair games like gta 6 will likely not be accessible on “budget” pc builds for 3-4 years with the high quality open world

  23. MilliumOne

I can’t wait for it to drop but I doubt my 3060 to is up to the task even in 1080p without dropping ray tracing

  24. Stilgar314

There has to be a big reason for a six months delay. That’s not a “we were over optimistic” situation, this has to be a “we found an unexpected problem” situation. My guess is that the problem is the game runs like ass in most devices, namely consoles.

  25. Braindead_brick

No worries we have nearly 2 years to upgrade

  26. InfinityPainPlus

you have 3 years to save up from one, should be more than enough time to get at least a rtx 6080

  27. GarmenCZE

    I got 7900XT.
Thought 7900XTX was not worth it.
Year after I see the recommended specs and I cry.
(I will be playing on medium graphics)

  28. Calvin_RH_705

Might as well pay for a Console, can play early too.

  29. Professional-Hour229

Guys I have an rtx 2050 4gb am I cooked?
