Vintage Bethesda, Knowing Todd, he won’t patch it as punishment for gamers trashing Starfield.

Feature not a bug

They also said Cyberpunk ran great at launch.

This is exactly how the remasters should be made. 100% faithful to the source material. š

I have definitely noticed some weird bugs popping up. I was trying to add an enchantment and it wouldn’t register the button press to select a skill to fortify. The solution was to do it again with an unsheathed weapon. However, now I’m getting a similar issue where sometimes I can’t loot things unless I have an unsheathed weapon, or I have to spam the button for it to register. Never happened prior to the enchantment thing.
Bugs are expected but given they’re charging $50 for the remaster I hope they patch them.
SSXAnubis
Faithful remaster. Just as bad as the first release!

Why the apostrophe and s? Completely unnecessary.
AuryxTheDutchman
I actually stopped playing Oblivion because of that exact issue. Ended up being a good thing though because I started Expedition 33 instead.

Makes sense. I donāt have a ton of hours in it yet but I have a decent number, and have only just started to see small, amusing bugs here and there; and then everything I read says on a technical level game runs like dog shit lol guess I just havenāt gotten there yet.
TheBaneEffect
How long is too long? I have a lot of play hours already. No change in experience.

Welcome back, Skyrim on the PS3.
FunctionalFun
I’ve had crashes when creating potions with stolen ingredients, crashes when fast travelling. I’m not even that late in.
supermitsuba
Sounds like a bug from every Bethesda game
Cloud_N0ne
How long are we talking? Iām 80+ hours in with no issues

I got in, finished the campaign, the one thing in didnāt do in the original and sat the game down. Iāll revisit it a year from now when itās patched and has more mature mods.
Kitakitakita
have there been any patches beyond the hotfix that removed graphic settings? Do we still have the Light bug where it only activates in third person?
Iggy_Slayer
This is par for the course with every gamebryo game (or creation, or whatever BS name they call gamebryo these days). They all do this.
joestaff
So far my favorite bugs are duplicating by literally using a storage container slightly differently and gaining picklock experience by clicking on an already secured tumbler.
Fucking classic stuff.
garulousmonkey
Didnāt that happen on the original release?
Victom123
i guess bethesda is fighting game leaks with memory leaks, interesting strategy
Starksrein
I’m currently facing this issue after 15 hours of playing this game
MajorDX25
So, itās a Bethesda game. Got it!
od1nsrav3n
Really fucking annoying.
I get weirdly intermittent fatal error crashes when fast travelling or walking through a door – could be after 4 mins or 4 hours.
Really puts me off playing.
Darkone539
Skyrim on the ps3. This appears to be normal for elder scrolls.
insanitysqwid
Sooo kinda like a return of the PS3 “save-bloat” bug that affected Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim since it’s Always Bethesda Jank??
But also, are we kidding ourselves? Remastered here doesn’t have as many items with physicals in comparison to the original release (the currency weights DON’T WORK in O:Re!) — yet the older consoles worked with what they had š Props to any game devs working within their limits
Tarc_Axiiom
If this is the same save compression bug that’s existed in every Elder Scrolls game for the past 30 years, then I guarantee it’ll be fixed in days.
A very much “How many times do we need to teach you this lesson, old man?” scenario.
DarkflowNZ
Well yeah it uses the original engine, right? It’s only got a new graphics layer over top. That said, this happened to me and I was able to load a save an hour or two back and it’s been fine for like 10 hours since. Luckily I knew from experience with the original version to keep a rotating roster of like 10 saves. That said, don’t keep too many saves either as that can cause issues if I recall
ShallowBasketcase
So it’s a Bethesda game.
Maximum-Hood426
And all the Bethesda shills defending broken games in this day and age. Fucking hell.

Average Bethesda moment

So the game has one or more memory leaks that need to be fixed. Honestly it feels like almost every large game that comes out now has some kind of memory leak.
It’s the entire reason why I over-spected my PC to 64GBs to help prevent crashes (for the system overall, not just games crashing) I remember when 76 came out (Yes I know haha another Bethesda game) and the game alone had over 30GBs of memory used up at one point.
