    not sure if unpopular take – but when i played this game, and the first time you were in the shower or mirror or whatever (its been a loong time) – an ad showed up, and then he picked up some monster energy drink off the table, is when i quit the game and never picked it up again.

    it just was a shitty feeling and took me out of the immersion.

    Edit: it has come to my attention that they removed the ads. I’ll check it out again.

    It’s a character in the game, not an Easter egg. The character is named “Deadman” and is modeled after del toro, but not voice by him.
