    As an adult, you need to become financially responsible. That entails not “investing” a large percentage of your income in depreciating assets that don’t generate money themselves (this is even more true regarding cars and car loans)

    After I left a bit of scorched earth, If you can afford it and it makes you happy, I’m feeling happy for you as well. You can’t take money with you and life can be unexpectedly short sadly, so die hard austerity has the potential to really backfire.
