Replying to someone who earlier said consoles didn't support 120hz refresh rate. I responded that I was pretty sure I had that in my settings and they said I was wrong. Couldn't post pics in replies so I will link this for them.

This has been a thing for about 2 years.

It’s not a true 120 Hz. Because according to the game, the FPS never changes. But visually you can see frames drop. You can also see the game stuttering with no change in latency. 120 Hz on PC looks totally different. And I know because I have both.

120 FPS at a much lower visual quality, yes

Only if you have a good enough television, unfortunately.

My pc runs any game at 240fps but warzone it’s always around 115. Game is poorly optimized

I think both parties are right in this case.

Do the console and game support a 120Hz output mode? Yes. Without a doubt, as you have shown, yes they do.

Does the game actually run at 120fps? No it does not.

So it’s more of an unlocked framerate mode in a 120Hz output container. A real 120Hz from a PC is worlds better.

Been running 120 fps for years now on Warzone. Don’t know why people think this isn’t a thing. And i run at 1440p it’s very clean

And in PS5 Pro u can use it while still having a crispy and amazing image quality and texture

On PS5 regular looks bad with 120Hz.
