I miss splash damage games. Always liked their objective modes and the spanning campaigns. Played a lot of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and remember getting ETQW. Brink was really cool too.

One of my most hated games. Story time!
My friends and I went to the first PAX East conference. We had a review website back then so we had press badges. This gave us access to some cool stuff.
After the first day, the creators of Brink had a special area in an adjacent abandoned building. When we got there they had about 12 TVs/consoles hooked up to play Brink. The game was terrible and I assume it wasn’t much better when it actually released as they didn’t tell us it was an early build or anything.
They had cold pizza and cans of coke in a cooler. We got merch. So I probably have a Brink T-Shirt somewhere. But yea, the game was bad so we didn’t bother even reviewing it. Lol
But hey, someone had to enjoy it and now I have seen that OP is that person.
