I'm new to the world of PC building and wanted to get a small job to (hopefully) buy a pretty good PC that can run most games very smoothly. As of now I'm using my ASUS A17 Laptop which is very nice, so I wanted something better than it.
Is this build alright for its price? Or should I spend an extra few hundred dollars to buy better parts? (Also, any tips on adding RGB to the build would be very helpful 🙏)

Hello TheKraftyGuy, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

I recently built something similar – I opted for 5070 ti oc and 1000w power supply ( I have a liquid cooling system)
I strongly suggest you upgrade the monitors to 1440p –
your system is too powerful for just 1080p
7800x3d and 5070 for 1080p is completely overkill.
I don’t know the specifics but you can easily copy Windows from a PC that’s already running an activated version of it. Would look into that instead of wasting $120 on a copy, or at least buy a copy from a reseller that won’t charge triple digits
That aside, looks like a fine computer. Someone else already mentioned that you could do better than 1080p monitors but if that doesn’t bother you then it’s fine
Ye but get better monitors thats a waste of pc with that monitor
Looks good but I agree, go with 27” 1440p monitors.
This build is overkill to stick on 1080p resolution
The motherboard is cheap
This setup can run any game at high settings at 1080. But I would personally suggest changing one of the monitors to a 1440 monitor for gaming. And then you can leave the other one at 1080 because that’s usually just going to run discord and some other apps. But this is definitely a 1440 PC. And if you need monitor suggestions you can DM me
monitors .. maybe just get 1 big 1440 monitor
power supply better make it 850w just for future proof
at 1080p you’ll be able to run everything you want!
Buying windows for more than $120 is lol. You can get it for $26.

i strongly recommend you don’t buy koorui, i’ve had two monitors from them and both had an utterly unbearable ghosting effect. picture quality is also okay at best and i don’t think they even have adaptive sync
