New York, Dallas, maybe Vegas, POSSSIBLY Florida but I doubt since GTA 6 is coming out, or Chicago.

I mean, personally, I’d love to see something outside of the US. Like Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong.
Of course, I’d love to have a game with multiple, fully fleshed out cities and places. That’d be the dream.

United Korea would be cool to see, and the countries IRL are already dystopian as is, with the south being ran and controlled by a handful of corporations so its one of the closest things to a cyberpunk setting that we’ll get irl
kaizenwolf
Houston or Dallas.
Current day DFW literally spans an area the size of the state of Connecticut. It’s one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. Sure, it’s mostly suburbs right now, but the place has some of the weirdest gerrymandered zoning ever. You’ll go from the Ritz to don’t get out of your car ghetto in a block. And then that ghetto will span for miles.
I think these cities, especially Houston in some ways are greatly overlooked as a setting for crime heavy exploration games.

Within the US in the universe, a lot of cities are in really bad shape as of when they’ve been referenced
The northeast corridor between Boston and DC is supposedly still mostly livable, so you could do one of the cities in that range
Outside the US, Tokyo is one of the largest and most prosperous cities in that world
Paris is referenced to still be around and functioning mostly as a real city
London could be interesting because it’s said to be partly flooded and have active combat zones within the city as of 2077
Honestly though, I think the next game will still mostly be in Night City. It’s by far the most developed place in the lore, which gives the devs more things to cram in and work with from a story perspective, and with some of the events hinted at and referenced in the first game, it would need to be there again to get follow up on those

Tokyo post 2077 would be great.
A city somewhat defining the Cyberpunk aesthetic and relying so much on Arasaka now has that same company practically destroyed. Whole city is probably a free for all where even anti-corpo folk can get out of their hole.

1. Chiba, Japan. The original Night City is in Japan so technically the most correct answer.
2. Miami, US. If we are staying in the US, Miami has that 1980s neon vibe.
3. Of course I’d also love to see something outlandish like a European city, London or Paris.

Would be interesting to go between some cities. Also, kinda want to see them have one city that went the other way, no one with tech enhancements and proud of it.

The pacific northwest with an uncontrolled spread of that fubgus/computer Maximum Mike was talking abut! A cross between Cyberpunk, the machine apocalypse and the last of us.

Soviet Union, probably Moscow, Minsk or Kiev. It still exists in Cyberpunk universe and apparently it’s doing much better than NUSA.

Lore-wise? Washington D.C. for sure, or London.

I would love to see a city in India. The country has a lot of tech and will be one of the biggest nations in the future.
DarkSideofLimbs
I really like that they keep with night city for the game i think that is the essence of the ip from the historia of the board games to the video game but seeing cdmx or Tokio will be great
Maes_Hero_Hughes
Somewhere in the south would be cool. Like a city and nature collide type thing. Inner city would be nature melding with technology but outskirts could be deolate feilds/farmland. You know the end less dirt roads that lead to an empty 4 way. Could even be good for the more scary parts of cyberpunk. Super tech yath out on the lake, 4 wheelers through the country with drone assistance, cyber deer.
Superfluous_Jam
Tokyo would be badass
Silvanus350
Tokyo or Hong Kong.
Cyberpunk London would be pretty interesting.
Literally anything outside the US.

Would be cool to travel to multiple and have a deus ex like game experience for other cities and 1 of them being a hub thats open world. give that deus ex globe trotting experience but have missions that goto other cities or locations for a few missions
Virkuz000
I know we already got a lot of NUSA stuff in PL, but some more visibility on how North California, Western Corporate States, and Texas contend with NUSA would be interesting to me.
Oooohh, Battlefield: Cyberpunk! That could be a fun spinoff.

Tokyo.
Let’s fuck ‘saka in Tokyo.

Florida, there’s a massive floating city there called Atlantis according to the lore.

I don’t think anywhere would actually work other than Night City.
