This map never should have been delayed. Bringing back Verdansk is the worst move they ever could have made for longterm numbers.

  2. derkerburgl

Yes. A map rotation would be awesome. I like Verdansk but dropping into the same map over and over gets stale

  3. Groundbreaking-Tax-4

Just gotta steal the rotation model from Apex, like they did with a lot of other stuff.

This map is going to suck so much it’s crazy, so much water in the middle of the map killing vehicle plays. Guarantee we’ll get zip redeploys on this map and it’ll play exactly like urzikstan.

From the leaks/rumours, it’s at least going to be appearing in some capacity for COD 2025’s campaign. I’d love to see Avalon in BR, this is the second time now that Treyarch have lost a BR map (like, these things take roughly a year and a half to make) due to upper management decisions.

Hope they fire the devs that have this love for water.

  7. Brorkarin

Yes ofcourse. Playing the same map over and over again gets old fast

The game can’t function properly with one big map. What makes us think it will be able to successfully incorporate another one alongside it?

After caldera. Al mazrag and urzikstan (all trash) I’ll be happy with Verdansk forever

  10. More maps is good but not this one. Way too much water which is the worst mechanic in the game.

  11. Drunk_Agent

I prefer something new vs Verdansk, so yeah.

  12. b-lincoln

Was Avalon supposed to be the Mexico GW maps in mw2? If so, yes.

  13. superduperf1nerder

Honestly, it kind of looks like it was designed as an open world zombies map. Similar to Urzikstan in the way the water, and other geography separates the zones.

  14. loopasfunk

Ehhh from rooftop campers to water rats

  15. yippee_ki_yay-mf

They will have to do rotating maps with whatever map the release or the fanbase will moan and sob for Verdansk. Idk if they will ever be able to get rid of it now. I personally wouldn’t be excited for Avalon. Water play is cheesy and clunky.

  16. AKdaSaviour97

Map rotation yes. This map however no, too much water

  17. Nervous-Increase7402

Any map rotation would be enjoyable. One map over & over is insane jus like people that on play rebirth Alcatraz only that’s insane

  18. Michaelskywalker

Too much water. And I’m not a fan of so many POI’s being cut paste of 6v6 maps. I don’t and never will want to land at fucking protocol. Or rotate to it. Same with skyline.

  19. alejoSOTO

Depends. If it was designed by the same team that did Area 99, (which I think was Treyarch, not sure), then absolutely fucking not.

I don’t think BO6 has brought anything good for Warzone and the less we have from that title spewing into Warzone the better.

If that’s not the case, then sure, why not.

  20. Enigma_Green

So many rumors they say this is gonna be battle royale then they say also the next Zombies map for the next big game.

  21. Boring-Topic-500

Sure, maybe I’ll finally win a game

  22. thebluehotel

A map rotation should have been implemented with WZ2.0, so there’s no reason to suggest they’d start now. They grossly mismanage resources.

Imagine if people getting bored with one map we actually got to switch it up every 15 minutes like Resurg rotations a while back.

  23. jkoki088

lol here we go. Complaining never ends.
