It’s a great game and an open world racing game is a good fit for the system. The only comparable game that I can think of is Ubisoft’s Motorfest, so I can see PS players jumping on FH5.
Does it have cross-play with Xbox and PC?
Waiting for a sale on Forza but picked up Indiana Jones and have been enjoying it. What’s sad is I have but had no want to play these games on it.

Halo infinite would be amazing. It’s F2P, and would dramatically boost the player base, and in turn the battlepass. Seems like a no brainer.
Its almost like the narrative that Xbox doesn’t make any good games is false and has more to do with players not wanting to switch console ecosystems, cant wait for fanboys to move the goalposts and somehow spin this as a negative.
That’s not too shocking, there’s not really any similar game on playstation like horizon as GT remains a racing sim so it can stand on it own without competition.

Big win for Xbox. Still gives priority to Xbox players and encourages new users to switch to Xbox(to not wait like 5 years), but suddenly sell over a million copies years later. Also benefits Xbox players with huge influx of more online players. Huuuge

Forza 5 is one of the best racing sims around, shouldn’t be a shock to anyone.
I hate the Horizons games. Skinnerboxes, all of them.
The last mainstream game I bought was Motorsports 3, which I then got punished for not buying the $80 collector’s edition by not being offered the supercharged Corvette that was on the cover until three years later when they released a $20 “Collector’s Edition” DLC pack.
Paid the same amount and I could have had a steelbook and a NISMO Usb thumbdrive.
If you weren’t a Playstation only player, you have no idea how long we’ve been waiting for a great non sim or niche racing game ever since NFS fell off, Midnight Club stopped coming out, and the crew tried to do what Forza Horizon did but in a worse way.
Forza on PlayStation selling like hotcakes just proves most gamers don’t care about brand loyalty. We just want good games that run well and don’t drop $70 for half-baked nostalgia bait. Sorry Indy.

To each their own, and I love the fact that people on the PS platforms can enjoy an XBOX product, but going from Forza Horizon 4 to 5 felt “off” the unskippable moments, the constant talking, it felt like some weird teenage kids game that wouldn’t shut up,
It looks great, runs great, exactly what you’d expect from a quality product, but MAN was it annoying, I got through a few hours and had to uninstall it from the XBOX PC App,
Just couldn’t sit through that nonsense, did anybody else feel that way?

Forza 5 is one of the best racing games ever made, its just non stop fun with a low floor and a high ceiling
