Not exactly sure how I'm achieving this, but I scored 45358 on multi core and 2297 on single core in Cinebench R23.

I've applied the following in BIOS:

  • EXPO II, increase 6000 to 6200, 1:1, using 2×32 G.SKILL kit at 26-36-36-96, 1T Dual Channel Set
  • Curve Optimizer to Per CCD, -40 and -29
  • PBO Limits to Motherboard
  • Disabled AMD SVM

That's it.
I haven't built a system in 10 years…am I doing this right?

Other components:

  • ASUS ROG Strix X870-I mini-ITX motherboard with latest April BIOS update (I replaced the factory pads with Fujipoly xr-m pads + some copper shims I made)
  • 1x Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB NVME M.2 drive Gen5 x4
  • ASUS Loki 1200watt SFX-L PSU
  • …and a cheap Cooler Master CPU cooler with 1x 120mm BeQuiet Silent Wings Pro 4 Fan

I'm testing the system outside of my Lian Li A3 before I install everything into the case. I will be going to water once I receive my fittings next week.

Wanted to share this because well…I think these are pretty high scores based on what I've seen from other 9950X3D owners.

There should be a bot for people claiming -40 CO is stable and presenting CB as proof. ;P

    The bot would say:

No way this is stable unless you absolutely won the silicon lottery. Download AIDA64, start stress test with all four options, and pass at least 3h as a start.

Next up, y-cruncher VT3 stress test for multiple hours.

Finally, ram tests like TM5 absolute (3h plus) and karhu (12h).

Context: CB is not a stress test and can easily pass unstable under volts with impressive results. For daily or gaming stability you will have to go on a long journey of testing and failing (Im on that myself)

Don’t post e-peen screenies because this is how people get duped into overclocking past their potential and wondering why their chip keeps crashing.
Once it passes y-cruncher and occt cpu on AVX for 2+ hrs ill be accommodating.
