They’ll sell out like hotcakes anyway

  2. Suvaius

People keep hating but they keep buying

  3. PoopTransplant

Diablo 1 & 2 were my favorites when I was a kid, I didn’t even give 4 a chance because of stuff like this.

  4. So sick of these dumb ass cash shops in every fking game and the tar tars that buy it up.

I’m from Brazil and have always been a major fan of Blizzard. I bought ALL their games. But for the first time, it has gotten to a point where I must let the company go. Things have been hard for everyone in the whole world, but Blizzard’s absolute REFUSAL to offer proper regional pricing is killing us here.

It costs me almost half a month’s salary to buy Diablo 4. Can’t afford it. And it’s not like it was JUST released. It’s still super expensive even with discount. And now this? Sad. A very sad day.

Diablo 4 cosmetics have been outrageously expensive since the beginning it’s nothing new,

Between 25 & 30 €$£ for a single skin for a single class has always been ludicrous but if they’re still doing it it’s because people are willing to pay that price. ABK are not stupid they know what price they should sell thing to get the most out of them

I like Diablo 4 a lot. I love Berserk a LOT. I have disposable income. I am not picking up a single one of these. If you have someone like me who is a fan of both of these properties and I’m still not picking it up, it’s -clear- these are priced wrong. I like both IPs and won’t bother. Its a shame.

Clickbait title. The skins cost just as much as they always have. If you were to buy **all** of them, then yes, you would be paying more than the game and it’s dlc.

  9. People hate it, but I feel like Blizzard have a good handle on this. They’ve had plenty of practice. The people that complain about this stuff aren’t who they are targeting. Whales will buy this stuff, and like any Veblen good they will sell the amount they desire by pricing out at that level.

Remember, you can always choose not to buy the pointless cosmetics

Literally quit blizzard games so long ago. Terrible company. Rip good old WoW days.

  12. IcePopsicleDragon

Kinda crazy if you think about it, but it’s modern blizzard

    >Of course, there are no gameplay benefits on sale here, and even if you fancy one item, you don’t have to buy everything; arguably, given that two of the sets are for Rogue, it might be a little pointless to do so. But for some context, the Diablo 4 expansion bundle, which includes the base game and the Vessel of Hatred Expansion, is priced at $69.99 / £59.99 on the Blizzard store (and is currently on sale for less). That means you’re looking at more than double the price of Diablo 4 and its DLC for these cosmetics.

Seems like they looked at Riot’s exalted skins and thought it was a great idea.

  14. And they will profit for hundreds of millions from this.

  15. Nanganoid3000

I’m shocked people are still shocked about these things XD XD XD

  16. ReadShigurui

I was actually going to play that cheeks game again…

  17. Kristophigus

And PoE had/has some that are like a grand.. nothing new here lol.

  18. ZackeryDaley

This is the company and game you supported. Megan Fox in the ad campaign lol Diablo has become a monetization tool. We need another grim dawn style small dev Diablo because Diablo has gone corporate my friends .It’s Fortnite diablo next they will have a battle royal or extract shooter Diablo.

  19. digsbyyy

I’m not familiar with bezerk but the skins look like hot azzzzz.

Miura is rolling in his grave.

It should be illegal to add microtransactions to paid games.
If you want to profit from skins or boosters then make your game F2P.

  22. BEWMarth

It’s funny because I have literally not seen any of the skins.

I don’t follow Diablo much but I have seen literally hundreds of posts over the last few weeks about the ridiculous pricing and maybe ONE post that showed off the little nose minion.

    That’s it.

It says something when people aren’t even interested in the cosmetics and you still priced it so high that the price became the story lol.

  23. ZackeryDaley

Peel the curtain back, in WOW for example one single pink horse armor dlc made more money than the sales of the dlc did. This is why games will literally give copies away for free, the backend monetization is that valuable.

  24. eddy_brooks

These types of games are crazy for this stuff. I bought the POE2 early access, checked out the skin shop, and the first one i say came to $70 before taxes.

I audibly laughed and never checked the shop again.

  25. Ok_Description7984

This is really sad. And it doesn’t matter if we say “people, stop buying and the prices will go down” the people who supports this crap will not stop.

  26. HumaDracobane

People paying for that shit are the problem and they have absolutely no right to complain about it.

  27. TheEclipse0

This is why I won’t buy this game. Every cool thing they put into the store could have been an ingame reward. $150 for a video game skin, which you typically view from miles away during gameplay is ridiculous. Ofc, all the nicest things go into the shop.

Remember horse armor? That skin cost like 2.50 and was widely ridiculed/rejected for Bethesda being greedy. What happened, gamers? Now we get $150 horse armor, battle pass, yearly expansions, ontop of the game being full price (and greater) and that’s fine now 20 years later?

  28. BeauShowTV

The store shows it for $25… This is just clickbait…

  29. half-dead88

i stopped with diablo 2 and it was one of my best idea ever.

  30. DeathMetalPants

Diablo is such a shit-show now. I had to leave all the subreddits I had been apart of for years. It hurts my soul to even think about the game.

What a directionless waste of time.

  31. LooseCannonSandvich

I actually started playing D4 for this collab but then found out that to get the ones i wanted it would cost more than the game would (Schnoz minion costs at much as a full set of armor) it killed my drive to play the game at all. Luckily I played through gamepass, so nothing was lost, guess I should have know, it is acti-blizz so i dont know what i expected

  32. errorsniper

Don’t buy them then. I will never understand the outrage over non p2w cosmetics.

  33. Ginn_and_Juice

And idiots keep buying this garbage
