If you’re a game developer that’s scared of another game that’s not even in the same genre then you are admitting your game sucks before you have even released it

While what Ive seen so far looks promising…if you feel the need to say this you must not have a lot of confidence in your own product. Assuming the game is good: as long as they dont release in the same month as GTA it should be fine…
But you know, this is EA…that managed to kill off one of their best franchises by releasing it more or less alongside BF1.

will be getting it as i want a casual shooter like battlefield as it has yet to go down the path that COD has gone down where the game looks like a deformed hybrid of overwatch and fortnite. I just can’t play COD anymore with the stupid ridiculous shit that is running around in that game.
the leaked playtests look promising as well and 2042 became a better game once they updated it.. all the have to do is improve upon that.
Too bad battlefield sucks. It’s not even remotely comparable to GTA.
