6000 CL26 1.4v – Any suggestions for improvements? SOC voltage also not reflecting?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently running my G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo 2x32GB (F5-6000J2636G32GX2-TR5NG) kit at 6000 MT/s CL26 on an ASUS Crosshair X870E Hero with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Timings are shown below via ZenTimings.

Everything is stable in AIDA64 and TM5. Latency in AIDA64 is 69 ns, which I think is decent, but I’m wondering if there’s room for improvement—like tuning tRAS, tRFC2, GDM, tWR, etc.

Also, one thing I noticed:
I’ve manually set my SOC Voltage to 1.25V in BIOS, but ZenTimings and HWiNFO still show around 1.20V under VSOC (SMU). Is this normal on X3D CPUs or ASUS boards?

    GDM disable ( will require more voltage though but improve latency)
    You do not need that high vsoc…or you should not unless you plan to overclock fclk

    All rttnomrd/wr – set them to OFF
    Also the next ones chose the number mentioned here in the list in BIOS

    RttWR – 6
    Rttpark- 5
    Rttdqs – 6

    ProcODT pu/pd seems very high for no reason – let them default the motherboard to assign them

    No, it isn’t normal. Your monitoring programs should be reporting the correct voltages. You also said 1.4v but your screenshot shows 1.45v.

    Are you sure your settings were properly applied?

    tRFC2 does not affect ddr5 and am5 so no point of changing it. You could try GMD off, but then it might need a little bit tweaking – maybe RDSCL and WRSCL form 4 to 5/6

    tRAS 40, tRC 70 or you can try to go route that [buildzoid mentioned](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS_NeTwjOvY&t=197s) – don’t bother with tRAS(set it to 126 as apparently it doesn’t affect performance) and go lower tRC like 40

    I guess soc could go lower to 1.11-15(silicon lottery), and you could try 2200fclk or 6200/6400mhz

    Also, don’t bother with aida latency, it is pointless and not valid.

    And last and most important question – “Everything is stable in AIDA64 and TM5” – is it stable like , 0,5/1h stable or more like 6-8h stable? Because if it’s 1h stable, that doesn’t mean it that is stable at all… And which TM5 config? usmusv3, anta777 extreme/absolut/ddr5?
