Well deserved! Purchased day one, and had a blast.

Incredible game. Action adventure goty right now, and it’s gonna be very hard to pass

Such a good game. So much variety and detail, played through it with my 9-year-old and we both had the full range of emotions while playing.

GOTY for me. Soooo freakin’ good.

Probably some suit at EA: “Impossible, but its a well documented fact that non live service games dont sell well, Dragon Age Veilguard failed for that reason didnt it?”

Understandable, shits incredible.

Don’t hate me but I thought this was a fortnite picture at first glance.

From a gameplay perspective, this game is excellently made. The story and characters are let down a bit by some questionable writing and pacing, but the actual core of the video game is awesome.

This is the kind of game that makes me wish I had someone to play with.

WELL DESERVED. My GOTY so far!!

Maybe an unpopular opinion(?) but I thought that It Takes Two was a better game. Maybe because ITT was a new and novel experience but all the levels, except for the last one, were fantastic. Split Fiction’s first 1/3 to 1/2 was weak. Basically everything up until the monkey boss. And that Monkey can just be cut.
I also felt like there level interactions in ITT were more plentiful and more fun. The magic cat village was really the only place that had the same type of exploration.
Still a fun game but not the 10/10 experience that i was expecting from reviews.

Happy for them, and hope it leads the way for other studios to realise they can make money without microtransactions, season passes and competitive multilayer.
Just make a really good game that’s fun to play!
You can feel the artists and creators passion flowing through this game, the crazy level designs were amazing.

If only I had a friend to play it with 🙁

And Jon Chu (Wicked, Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights) is making it into a movie starring Sidney Sweeney.

I just bought this to play with my teenager after we looked up games like It Takes Two. One hour in and it is awesome so far.

Can’t wait for it to go on EA Play and EA Play goes for $1 again.
I finished Star Wars Jedi Survivor this way.
I just hate giving EA money. Unlike KCD2 that was pre-ordered.

Some of the most interactive and interesting true co-op mechanics in any game.
My dad and niece have played A way out over the weekend and said it was fun. They’ve played the It takes two game twice and said Split fiction was their best one yet.
The devs who make those games singlehandedly are carrying the couch co-op category.

I’m still prefer Split Second

My copy arrives later today. Can’t wait. Also, good for them.

After GTA 6 was delayed, this game and Clair Obscure are my Goty contenders
Apprehensive_Map64
I already beat it once with my boys, we’re a bit after halfway through the second run as opposite characters. So far we haven’t even skipped a single cutscene. I personally couldn’t stand that horrid cliche french accent of the book in It Takes Two so would skip them all the time
