Come on over to God’s house (Firefox)

  2. DontMilkThePlatypus

Only assholes continue to willingly use Chrome, mate.

  3. MDR-Z1R

Set the fox trap. We still have time to rescue OP from planet chromium.

  4. vancoder1

lame attempt Chrome, I’m moving to Firefox

  5. WannaAskQuestions

    Imagine still using Chrome. Tf!?

  6. xdthepotato

if you dont know that translates to “remove chrome”

  7. -DethLok-

Yep, I turned it back on.

    YouTube is advert free again.

  8. therealRustyZA

I just uninstalled chrome and moved over to Firefox. Easy.

I’ll be the first to say that we should never be FORCED to sit through an ad. It’s manipulative.

Nothing turns me off from a brand faster than having to sit through 30 seconds of a forced ad. Especially if I’m not allowed to view the content and the ad pauses if I scroll away.

Show it to us sure, but if you have to tie me down to watch it, your product wasn’t worth anyone’s time in the first place.

Chrome recommends that I no longer use uBlock.
So, I no longer use Chrome.

Firefox/librewolf or Brave will work just fine.

F Google. They’ve finally gotten too full of themselves.

uBlock Origin offers an extension that supports the manifest v3, the uBlock Origin Lite.

Probably is not capable as the original one, but at least you are not running and outdated extension that may not have the lastest filters.

But if you still wants to use the full version, it’s probably the best that you ditch Chrome.

  12. whatsforsupa

uBlock Origin WILL die on Chrome unfortunately. The assholes will make it happen.

You can either switch to Firefox (who said they will not discontinue the framework it uses), or use uBlock Origin Lite. Origin Lite is about 70% as good.

    Manage > enable

It’ll warn you but it still works

  14. GuyonaMoose

I tried chrome for a bit. Uninstalled and back to Firefox the goat. Been using it since ’07

  15. pillsburyDONTboi

You can turn it back on, they don’t even prevent you lmao

  16. Bearnee

This was the last straw for me. I‘m now on Firefox and despite everyone and their dog praising it, the performance is _not_ on par with chrome.

I will stay on it, but people need to keep it real.

  17. MHWGamer

go to manage extensions and turn it on again. This is just a fake bs warning

  18. xakira666x

Everyone who uses fire fox with their 42 extensions holding it together just entered the chat.

  19. HengerR_

Do as it says and remove chrome. What’s so hard about it?

  20. AtTheGates

Brave gang where you at!? Working perfectly over here!

  21. Barachan_Isles

Google’s original motto was “Don’t be evil”.

Now the company HQ floats somewhere between the fifth and ninth circle of hell.

  22. Jason_Sasha_Acoiners

Honestly? This might be unpopular, but I use Brave. It works perfectly for me.

  23. SpitefulBrains

uBlock origin lite works on chrome. it’s as good as ublock origin

  24. LessThanPro_

If you want to stay on Chrome for some reason, ublock origin lite on complete mode seems to still block most ads. But consider switching to Firefox or at least Brave.

  25. sanjok1275

just install it manually, not through store, theres a manual on ublock subreddit

  26. ChefArtorias

Didn’t it stop working tho? I switched to Firefox long ago.

  27. Sizeable-Scrotum

    >Chrome recommends that you remove it

    Yes. Remove chrome

  28. Atesz763

“Chrome was uninstalled. This browser is no longer supported on my PC.”

  29. thro_redd

It can still be turned on. Misleading message.

  30. Old-Radio-7236

“Chrome recommends that you remove it”, lol very funny Google, very funny… I removed Chrome.
