I don’t think it’s insane to suggest if he gets his motivation back. Even when he was on that dysfunctional Falcons roster as a stand-in ––while not great on average––his highs were high. Sure you might compare that to FaZe as of now, but the foundation is much better and much more stable than that Falcons team.
If m0nesy can be an flashy aggressive AWPer in CS2, so can s1mple. He just needs to accept the game for what it is, and perhaps most importantly, find his motivation. And to be honest, to have the entire scene talk about him as a risk, as washed up, as someone to doubt –– it does sound like something that would motivate him.
I was never really that big on peak Navi or s1mple and his fandom, but having him back in a top team playing top CS would undeniably be amazing for the scene.

Sure, its not like he is 40. But he is still toxic af, idk which team would take him, when he can’t solo carry anymore.

Idk if he can but it’ll be hell of a feat if he can

Emphasis on at the end of CSGO, at the end of CSGO s1mple was not the 1.35 s1mple carry, his last year in CSGO he had a 1.17 rating and was very good and like 1.15 vs top 10 teams
He can definitely be that good, the old carry s1mple? Now that’s way way harder and not likely

that end of csgo s1mple was still top10 material, (rank 7 in 2023) , regardless austin is going to be exciting like boston back in the day

So many consistent awpers have struggled with the transition to CS2 while also still playing the game consistently. Simple has played maybe 15 games in the last month and outside of the benfit of name rec I dont see S1mple working out.
He has a LOT to prove and im just way for realistic on him than most it seems.

Normally I would feel like I doubt a player could return to form but if anyone has seen simple between now and when he retired, it’s crazy how healthy he looks. He looked awful near the end of his Navi run and still played well. He 100% needed a break for his physical and mental health and I’m sure he is in a position now to regain his form. He maintained goat form for years, I’m sure he knows what it takes to get back there.

Which is where he dipped in form (for his elite level), it didn’t start in Falcons

S1mple is a generational talent and the only thing stopping him from playing his best is himself and the staff supporting whatever team he’s on. He fixes himself and the coaching staff does a good job, it’ll be like the last few years never happened.

Of course he « can », but all signs point to him not being in the necessary mindset to grind to get to that point
I mean he’s barely played faceit the past week despite him (I guess) knowing at least somewhat in advance that he’d be joining faze

Call me crazy but s1mple might’ve just got back his motivation due to… Vitality starting an era. I mean him coming back and potentially taking them down would just be some insane anime main character storyline
