Does anyone know if there is actually an equivalent to the Grau with the tempus archangel barrel irl? I’m very much aware of the sig 552 and 550 rifles but the 550 while long does not have that clean barrel and iron sight.
Pretty sure most of the barrel setups are fictional, though it wouldn’t shock me if there are similar aftermarket options.
I prefer the OG aesthetic of the 55X family tbh, but the irons on that barrel wouldn’t work all that well IRL, at least to my understanding. Even if the rear aperture wasn’t so massive, to make them actually functional, they’d basically be super tall and thin pistol sights, which would be no good for a rifle, and would bend easily if dropped.

sig550 with a different handguard. Swap the composite handguard for an aluminum mlok or railed handguard and throw flip up irons on.
Quick Google showed me B&T make an aluminum handguard with a rail, now to find yourself some irons that look like that, or modify your own by chopping off the side ears.
