One of the few Games that look and run great. I’m so sick and tired of these shitty UE5 Games!
The city is great, but what is exceptional are the forests. Not just the looks, but the sounds, the atmosphere, they got it absolutely right.
I actually planned a trip to Bohemia near the end of the month to see the landscape in modern times myself.
It looks alright, about the same as the first game, just more polish

What engine is this? Everything is UE now, but it looks different in some way. But I can be mistaken
Thought at first that this was pic of that one russian or eastern european village that has grandiose church on top of a hill behind a river and then village of just sad looking shacks on the other side.
I was very surprised by how great it looks and still can’t pinpoint why. Perhaps transformer model at 4k performance that much better than in quality on previous model
We really don’t get enough Cryengine games.
It is insane to me that we can already fill out the GOTY nominations not even 5 months into the year (Blue Prince, Split Fiction, KCD2, Expedition 33, DOOM, MH Wilds) (I know dooms not out but Id rarely misses)

I’m still playing the first game and it’s also beautiful. The wispy grass and the forest areas are just so lush and full of life.

It really helps that it is optimized so well. It runs surprisingly nice even on the Steamdeck. Whereas Oblivion Remastered runs so poorly it’s unplayable on the Steamdeck.

I could say the same thing about the first one. Forests are so realistic, it makes you feel like you are actually exploring
Ahh I need to get back at it after Clair Obscur… I’m on the second map which i think is slightly behind the first map in terms of overall feeling and consistency but it’s still a blast… and yeah, it looks beautiful (even on my machine, showing it’s well optimized as well).
