It’s a gamble, obviously. But I think if there’s one player you roll the dice on, it’s him. As FaZe, you’re competing against Vitality with Zywoo, Falcons with Monesy and Niko, Spirit with donk. Not to mention MOUZ who don’t have a superstar player, but their overall skill across the team is up there with the rest of the top teams.
And karrigan’s midrounding just isn’t enough to bridge that gap, especially when players are underperforming.
Without a superstar player of your own, it’s gonna be hard to compete, and those don’t just grow on trees, you can’t just *get* one. If s1mple ever gets back to form, ever finds that motivation again, we might witness something truly special.
Of course, it also might all go terribly wrong. Maybe s1mple is perma-washed, embarrasses himself at the major and fades into obscurity forever.
