I couldn’t fit it all in one picture. And I still have more to squeeze in there. Wish me luck.

Personally, I just bought a couple of binders for the disks and boxed up all the boxes. Way more space efficient, much easier to browse and organize, significantly cheaper, easier to expand, faster and easier to setup, and highly portable, but doesn’t really look as nice.

Do you have some insurance for that?

Why don’t you put shelves higher? You’re waisting vertical storage space

You did a pretty kickass job.

that actually looks great, kinda feels like an old video club

Dude just put them in storage bins. They are not on display if they are in the closet. And I’m saying this as a fellow collector who has even more games than you

Serious question:  if downsizing, due to space limitations, why not ditch the cases and move to binder sleeves?

So I did this one time. Had to convert what was my game room into a bedroom. My mom got sick and so she came and stayed with us for a while.

I had shelves like what you have and all 3 of them were filled with games as well. It was difficult to get in and look for anything because the closet wasn’t very large.

So I kept thinking how can I make everything fit but not take up the entire closet.

The simple answer was to take apart the shelves and hang every panel on the wall. Since the shelves are all just straight and flat you can them all.

I just went to Home Depot and found the best bracket that would work for attaching them to the shelves and the wall.

I did that and it opened my closet back up. I kept a step stool in the closet because the top shelves were taller than me.

I gaped each shelves the height of the tallest games. So that would be the older PS2/Xbox style cases and was able to stack them 3 high.

The center wall like yours so I to took the longer side panels and stack those as well and I put most of my statues and action figures on those.

Doing it that was also allowed me to put extra stuff I had to box up because there wasn’t enough room previously.

I also went online and found some garage storage hooks and I hung those up for controllers, headsets, extra cables and things like that.

    You’ve done really well here

  22. Chill_Gamer527

Wow…that’s twice compare to how much I have! Only more PS4 games than from other PS consoles, plus tiny bits of Xbox, PC and Switch. Majority are backlogs though. But I wonder if you have played all these games yet.

You’re not taking full advantage of the vertical space. Get some more shelves so you can continue expand the collection
