If EVGA had made the RTX 40 or 50 series, I definitely would have bought one. But they don’t make graphics cards anymore, which is really sad.

Moving away from my evga 3080 was tough man.

Sometimes I feel bad for upgrading to a 4090 and thinking “It’s so excessive, I don’t need it”, but then I remember I only went from a 460 to a 1070, to a 1080ti, to a 4090 and skipped a lot of minor upgrades that others don’t.
Jesus, so many weird upgrades. Like why a 570 to 590 and then 590 to 670? Not that big of a difference between them lol

Evga 2080 super. Just upgraded to a Asus 5070 TI. Man that super was still loyal and still kicking like a champ. Gonna give here to my cousin for like $350-400 and all the components of my old build, might be less since the GPU was bottle necking the card at the time.

Im waiting for some madlad to take an old evga cooler and backplate and slap it on a non evga pcb of a 5070 or 5080

EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 is still the god damn sexiest card to exist. Gave mine to my step dad so it wouldn’t just sit in a box, whenever that card finally dies I’ll take it apart and frame it! Love it so much
I left the pc gaming space for about 15 years and like many re-joined in 2020. Can you tell us about having a 590 and a 670? Or the 980 and a 980ti?
Unless I’m mistaken, this is kinda like going from a 2080ti to a 3070…very similar performance lateral moves. Or maybe it was more like going from a 3070 to 3080?

It sucks not being able to buy another EVGA card. This is probably the only time I’ll say something like this about a PC component.

The EVGA 700 to 1000 series cards have been peak of good looking GPUs!
Weird, most Fermi users I’ve known and seen, either got a 560 series or 580. 570 is pretty rare.
I still have my EVGA GTX 295 Classified! Sadly I don’t think it works, but I’m highly contemplating putting it in a frame as an office piece.
