BROKY TO LIQUID PLEASE GET MY GOAT OFF THIS TRAINWRECK

  2. Geologist-Wise

That’s a lot of words to say absolutely nothing of substance

  3. steezecheese

karrigan leaving/joining teams has been one of cs’ greatest catalysts for success.

  4. Even_Money_3973

frozen to falcons – magisks pls🙂

  5. just-the-friend

Karrigan coach is a fun theory.

There is also lots of potential for change post major through a ton of teams

Faze hopefully are proactive and ready to poach some people

    Faze Malbs could be fun.

That’s a massive overstatement, FaZe in 2021 were an absolute shitshow. Their best placement throughout the entire year was a semis exit out of Cologne, and that was an accomplishment for them at the time.

That’s not to say FaZe is all well at the moment, I’ve never seen Broky miss so many shots than in the last couple of months, but I most definitely will never doubt Karrigan’s ability to revitalize a team.

As always, ground breaking analysis by Kassad “Team struggling need to do something, don’t really know what though”

I think now is the time for a big investment if I am honest, I love rain but he isn’t getting any younger and I don’t see him being close to a top 20 player ever again and I think maybe take some time to scout or awper and in the mean time give broky a final chance

  9. They need to cancel Karrigan’s contract and then have him sign a new one immediately. A team always succeeds when Karrigan joins them.. so Faze just needs -Karrigan +Karrigan and problem solved.

  10. Shenkowicz

Don’t they still have Olofmeister registered as a substitute player?

  11. Darkoplax

I would love if G2 can land frozen or elige

Ye but the problem is who tf is gonna replace for example karrigan and broky? It’s not like there’s an overlap of awpers and IGLs that are good enough for tier 1, it’s quite the opposite.

That’s a lot of words without saying something valuable.

Despite broky being the obvious scapegoat for good reasons, it’s clear his individual skill level is not the main issue FaZe is having, and quite frankly – given the performances from the other members of FaZe are also often lacking together with all the role changes and everything, it’s clear there are some tough, uncomfortable questions and problems for FaZe to attend to.

Personally, I’d say broky’s performance is only the 4th biggest problem for them because if one would be asked if -broky +someonebetter fixes current FaZe’s problems, there’s not high belief in that one change alone. For me, these three are the bigger ones to consider:

    * ropz is *that* good when it comes to intangibles and carried FaZe in multiple invaluable factors even outside of his stellar in-game performances throughout his time in FaZe. If losing Twistzz for Frozen was one thing, then EliGe for ropz took it to another level.
    * The team’s just gotten older and is losing via essentially natural selection to younger, slightly better teams. Karrigan is getting up there, rain perhaps not getting the extra 5-10% he used to. Even EliGe perhaps not being quite as good versus constant T1 opposition as his rating indicataed when he was in Complexity last year. Add those together and those drops across the board result in this – just ask NaVi!

    * (Most uncomfortable one to consider/talk about) – EliGe, despite no denying about his skill and despite the broadcast talent not wanting to focus on this angle since it’s uncomfortable and he’s *technically* doing his job in game – perhaps there’s some small intangibles in a negative sort of a way that comes with him that cause certain mental/energy issue in a team. The most difficult kind of ‘toxic’ to deal with is one that has no intent in being toxic, even tries to be better than that but perhaps still coming short despite their efforts. No one wants to shit on a guy who’s clearly trying, but that also does not mean it doesn’t still affect the others potentially in a negative way whenever the bad things in their demeanor/mental/personality do come out. Perhaps there’s small little things EliGe does that causes certain interference with the right emotions in a team or for the right energy to come out, especially long term passive effects of that. Think of it perhaps as a reverse Vitality – if for Vitality it was removing Spinx which was seemingly not good for either party in terms of mental or synergy, perhaps FaZe *adding* EliGe is their version of it, even though both Spinx and EliGe are objectively great players. Maybe EliGe is completely fine as a teammate, but perhaps it simply just does not mesh with the rest of the FaZe members specifically, be it outside of the game or in terms of synergy within the server. Correlation isn’t causation, but given EliGe’s somewhat at moments questionable demeanor in his teams, it’s something very real to consider, especially when he is the obvious element that came in and replaced the previous roster where even if FaZe were slumping before Shanghai, at least the vibes/energy and overall atmosphere was still the good old FaZe’s. Is the change in atmosphere really just down to their continuous slump and not winning? Who knows.

Lots of speculation here of course, I just think the broky one while valid is very basic. Part of his performance could very well be rectified with perhaps a different composition of FaZe, be it removing Karrigan, Rain, EliGe etc. Fine to remove him as well, but a bit trickier since he’s a 24 year old AWPer who’s still fine versus T2 and has shown to have good results at the start of CS2.

For me, karrigan and broky is the lowest performing guys on the team. It’s a gamble if u want to remove karrigan. Also i doubt he become a coach, other teams will offer him a lot of salary to become igl.

They should go sign 1 player now as subs becos the major already lock the roster and they should go for big change after the major

  16. chefchef97

Idk the period where Allu Karrigan and Kioshima all lost the ability to shoot was pretty bad

  17. Maluvius

They should not remove Karrigan, guy is one of the most succesful IGL’s in Tier 1, removing him is such a huge gamble on any other IGL at the moment, unless you can get Apex, which they can’t. Honestly, Broky has just hit a huge dip in performance, if Faze can get an AWP that isn’t as flashy as Broky, but reliable (Dev1ce) that alone would solve a ton of problems.

  18. MrDaniel95

I only watch CS from time to time, so I’m probably wrong, but the feeling I get is that the team is just not good enough.
Frozen-Elige are good players but are probably not enough to carry the team alone, Rain is declining and Broky can’t hit anything. Karrigan as IGL probably still works if you surround him of guys that can outshoot the competition, but the Faze magic is gone without Ropz and Twistzz.
