    Never forget, i download 18h Fallout 76, next day i find out download was stuck 99%, waited half hpur and nothing happened. Bethesda downloader was freezed, i had to force shutdown it. When i restarted my computer and trying to finish that instal, it started from 0%. That was the moment i knew i hit to the jackpot game.

    I had 200kbps internet until October 2022, it was awful. Device updates would be overnight ordeals and I actually had to spend a week straight downloading a 50GB game when I got my Xbox one in 2018.

    Even to this day our internet is glorified shit and it’s 30mbps cable internet if we’re lucky, though any time the weather even thinks of raining or being windy our internet is knocked out for days (and sometimes multiple weeks) at a time

    Edit: just speed tested and it’s actually 25mbps not 30

    Honestly man. I’ve had bad internet like this before. I live in a hostel so I cannot have broadband. The hostel internet is very shady so I bought my own unlimited data SIM card and I’ve been getting countless issues with it. Sometimes you just gotta look at getting a WiFi that’s actually not super popular in the area and also has good signal otherwise you get the internet speeds you see in that image.

    I was downloading fall guys 13ish gb and at first the ETA was 78hr but it got better later on.

    My PlayStation doesn’t show download speed but it’s definitely something low.

    At first I was like “204 isn’t terrible at all”. My brain is so hardwired to Mbps these days that I didn’t even see the K in there. You got that original DSL package going I see

    Oh, I had worse a few months back. 60 kbps couldn’t even get me to send a simple message on Steam or Discord. Just how heavy are texts nowadays?

    I lived in a student corridor (dorm room, sort of) where the rooms had cable internet. The default speed was was 250/100. Except it was kbit/s, not Mbit.. Upgrade the speed? Sure no problem. Waiting time only about 6 months. I was studying there for two semesters…. I had proper broadband speeds for 3 months before I left…

    My old internet was like this, whenever I wanted to play something new I had to wait a day for it to install. When I finally switched my new internet was literally 1000x faster
