Honestly, with inflation and supply chain issues, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Still frustrating though, especially for those who waited hoping for a price drop.

Im gonna be honest here. Who buys them? I’ve sold my XSX couple weeks ago for 350€. There is absolutely no reason to get one over the PS5. Gamepass is more expensive, PS is getting a lot of exclusives, the list goes on…
I’m not saying that either one of these consoles was great for gamers this console era. But I see no point buying an Xbox over a PS5.
I’ve had the 360 Elite, Launch Day Xbox One and bought the XSX from a scalper for 550€.
I’ve had to learn it the hard way how Microsoft fu**ed everything up. I couldn’t care less for 90% of the Indie games which are in Gamepass. I’ve always used it for Halo, battlefield, cod and Forza Lan parties. That was it
Shittiest console with almost no good exclusive this generation, barely breathing in the market, with Switch 2 around the corner, but still no one able to kill it.

The only good thing here for gamers is it makes the resale value of early adopters consoles higher
If anything they should lower the price and take a hit to get people to buy one. Barely any exclusives and most of the games you can get on other platforms. Seemed like Microsoft stopped caring after the Xbox 360 era.

Ah, so that’s where all the stock is going. In my country there’s one online retailer that has it stocked, and it’s a retailer which says how many in stock they have… and it’s one whole Series X left. In a country of nearly 10 million people.
my first and last xbox was the amazing 360.
This brand has been making horrendous decisions since the reveal of X1 and never stopped since. The consoles are struggling to get sold, it doesn’t make sense, they can recoup any loss quickly with a game purchased or a new active subscription to the GP no ?
but yes, they have microsoft money to get Bethesda and Activision, if you look at their games without Bethesda/Activision since 2020…

Everyday the fact that I got my Xbox Series S for £89 makes me more and more happy.
If this is to subsidise Americans it’s insulting
