I fear no man but…

Heyy! I just had a thought about pulling out all the side glass panels for summer and removing all case fans except bottom ones. Still would have good bot-up airflow. Case: Thermaltake Core P8, vertical GPU mount.

Ya… its an “open air” build… and its definetly not that one day I took the side off and then never bothered to put it back on…for 2 years

Used one for a couple years, it’s basically perfect if you don’t travel often. Never had a closed case that ran quieter and was easier to build in, not to mention the size

open air case since 2009 and dust is my friend

The Antec Skeleton is by far my favorite case I’ve ever had.

I used to put my PC in “summer camp”, meaning using it without a case during the summer months. But it was “I had a GTX560Ti and it was decent”-years ago

I’d love to make mine open air but it’s so damn dusty here. I need the extra air filters to stop the dust getting into my GPU!

I want an open case so badly but I’d have to do a whole custom loop in order to see it as a good idea and idk if you know, but that’s not cheap 🙃

Right now I have cooling issues with my 5600x. It completely shuts down at 85. Just gives up. I’ve cooled the poles out of my case, but still sometimes it hits 85. So I put a mosqueto net on my case instead of the plate. Less dust that way, and the components stay cool.
