Man I always seem to get really lucky buying new gpus, first gpu was a 2070 super I got on sale like 2 weeks before the covid crash, then I got a 4070 ti super for like $850 about half a year ago.

GPUs cost the same as a car, cars cost the same as apartments, apartments cost the same as houses and it goes and goes.
It’s been impossible to afford anything these days specially on a third word country where things are worse and usually costs 10x more than the USD MSRP/street price

People look up the program “Lossless Scaling” on Steam and use two gpus. Add a used gpu to your current rig. you surprised.
I have 2 x 5700XT, and i’m able to get better performance than a 4070. You may also need to get a bigger power supply. But all of that is still way cheaper than new gpu prices. You can get a 5700XT on Ebay for $125 to $150.

I got a 9070xt on amazon for $700USD. Smokes both of those GPU’s for half the price. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I know there are folks out there who treat PC building like in maxxing a DnD character. But I am getting 150-250 fps, ultra everything, often RT enabled. Thing shreds. And yet someone out there is paying more than my entire build budget for an nVidia GPU because marketing.

Genuinely? Get a 3060. It works just fine for just about anything somewhat casual. High end games, video editing, streaming, no problems. And it only costs like, 300-400. The price difference is insane.

Enjoy your stay and get comfortable because you know what’s great about these price rizes? Once they go up, they never go down. Ever… Even if tarifs are deleted from existence, businesses will just eat up the extra cash. Because, well why would they reduce prices if they can just have more money? Money’s great. As the Orange man has stated, you are raking in billions and billions on tarifs.
