If you’ve watched CS for a while, DDK’s transformation into the consummate professional he is now is genuinely inspiring. In those early days of Faceit, solo-casting gruelling 10hrs+ marathons, he often seemed like the least natural choice of commentator: an introvert shoved in front of a camera, awkward and stilted. And now, through determination and intellect, he’s become a great, ably casting one of the best CS finals of all time, amongst many other accomplishments. Salute.

Absolutely love DDK, he was always my favourite caster back in the day. He was one of the casters who was actually knowledgeable about the game and didn’t just shout cast nonsense with ridiculous metaphors to disguise his lack of knowledge, no particular shade to another caster. He’s also just a really nice guy, met him in a Mirage game once and he clapped me with a deagle so many times it wasn’t even funny.
