Dust off your backlogs the next time you get pissy at an online game, there are tons of excellent single player games for every taste!

  2. Denariax

$1500 setup actually, and my chair is broken.
    But yeah

  3. Arch_Stanton1862

I don’t like it when you make memes about me. 😅

But true… Singleplayer for life. Anything multiplayer can fuck right off.

Mobas are dead to me. I don’t wanna be mad anymore. Gotta remember why we play games bro.

  8. steelimus

This is me except my rage was wrought through shooters

  9. slappyship

It has probably been 20 years since I’ve played an online multilayer game. I don’t miss them at all.

$1,800 build here from three years ago and will not be upgrading any time soon, can’t say that I have ever been into MOBA’s, MMORPG’s have been more my jive, “and I primarily play solo with the exception of statics for end game content”.

I play games from all ages if it meets my genre criteria and is a good game then it doesn’t matter when it was made, whether the game was made before, after, during, or beyond my generation is irrelevant, a good game is a good game.

What constitutes a good game to me?

Listing from most important to least. . .

#1: Game-play/ the more challenging the better.

    #2: Story

    #3:Character Development

    #4:Audio/Music

    #5: Artistic Design

    #6: Graphics

I was never drawn to MOBAs and my rig is far from 3000 but otherwise this is me lol

Keep in mind that if you’re playing games like World of Warcraft or League of Legends, it might take a while to come back to your Steam games. Having bought a bunch of Steam games through the years, also means there is plenty to play, even if it’s old. Once in a while there comes a few new games you wanna buy, and then you wanna play those instead. My old laptop from 2012 is pretty bad, but I used to play Skyrim on full graphics with it…but now mostly played Heroes of Might and Magic and Settlers 2, because the wasd keys turn so hot, when using the actual laptop keyboard. It can probably still play better games, but it needs a monitor for it, or else the Nvidia GPU won’t work. For my current PC, I’ve had it since I built it back in 2017, but at the moment I don’t see any reason to buy a new new. It cost around $3000 back then, including a 1440p monitor ($770).

You can’t free me from my League of Legends chains with your happiness propaganda. Let me be miserable in peace!

I can’t convince my 10 year old nephew to enjoy single player games at all.

Roblox? Loves it. Terrible mobile pay to win games? Loves it.

Mario Odyssey, Botw, Hollow Knight, Hades. He’ll play for 20 minutes if I watch him. Then he’s back to the iPad.

I think it’s mostly about playing with friends. But the mobile games I think they’re so simple with immediate gratification and addictive loot boxes. It’s hard psychologically to push for harder games when that’s what you’re used to.

  19. Wak3upHicks

I was never drawn to MOBAs even back in the WC3 days.

  20. Rough_Proposal553

“No longer drawn to range inducing”

Souls-like: Allow us to introduce ourselves

  21. InterstelarDragon

my internet is too slow for online so I didn’t really have a choice (and still don’t). Not that I would play online anyway. Offline games for life.

  22. Frequent-Mouse-8135

Grim dawn is a awesome single player arpg. Better than D4 which basically requires multiplayer to play.. just one example

  23. Hot-Category2986

    I am in this picture.
I used to rage at 5-7 League of Legends matches a night.
Now I chill and place belts in Satisfactory, and daydream of taking long walks through Skyrim.

  24. AwesomeSocks19

Minus the bottom right this actually calls me out so hard (I can’t leave TFT and it’s in the league client).

I upgraded my PC to sit here and play Eu4 from 2013.

  25. ieatcake2000

Me when I quit playing dota and cs

  26. LubeAhhh

How the heck did you get into my room?

I felt the urge to upgrade to an RX 9070 and an overkill audio setup… for some reason. I guess my subconscious mind already knew about the Oblivion Remaster.

  27. Great_White_Samurai

I played LoL one time and said fuck that shit. Some dude raged at me for buying the wrong item…

  28. Jelkekw

No I’d rather give myself anxiety and ptsd cause its funner

  29. Alfred146

I’m single player enjoyer but my setup is more around 300 not 3k

  30. YOUR--AD--HERE

Hey this is me lol. I got a 7900xtx and a 7800x3d last year to still play eu4…4k+ hours.

  31. Conscious-Dinner-149

Life when you’re in the 30s

  32. What’s a single player enjoyer doing with 3 monitors, if not flight simulator? But I see no joystick…
