Whenever i search for a solution i always avoid microsoft community posts. Such a waste of time 99% of times.

    *Hi* [*Not-French-7845*](https://www.reddit.com/user/Not-French-7845/) *-*

*I’m Fusseldieb, one of the Independent Advisor and a fellow Windows 10 user like you.*

*Please do step X, Y, Z which consist of several obvious things, but none that actually work.*

    **Microsoft forums are utterly useless.**

I once had a windows update issue that was so bad sfc /scannow would lock up cmd. I ended up having to look at where the log file ended and pulling the broken file from an installation .iso
