When I was about 14 I learned Gaben had a public email anyone could reach out to. So I sent him an email asking if I purchased a poster from the Valve store, would he be willing to sign it for me. He forwarded my email to someone else at Valve who asked me for my address, and a little while later, this book showed up in the mail, sent to me completely for free. I've had this book for about 15 years now and it's still my prized gaming possession. And I continue to be a Valve fanboy, loving my Steam Deck and continuing to hope for the eventual 3 game. If you see this Gabe, thanks again for being so nice to that random 14 year old kid, I still have it & cherish it 15 years later!

Copies of Raising the Bar by itself are incredibly rare, let alone something like what you’ve got.
I remember back when HL2 first launched, I picked up my copy, and my friend bought the Collector’s Edition, which came with a polo shirt, and some other goodies. He also picked up a copy of the book, and he still has all of it.
You have an awesome piece of HL memorabilia.
