I have a 6700 xt, and i used MorePowerTool to push it to 2900Mhz. It now eats 315W, and the temperature of the gpu is 70°C, but the hotspot is at 110°C, causing it to thermal throttle (only in furmark, i didn't get anywhete close to these power draws in other benchmarks). Why is the gap between the edge temp and hotspot so big? Should i replace the thermal paste?

I’m not an expert but I think a 40c degree delta between your core temps and hotspot could be worrying, in general it should be around 20-25c degree
Weird my Rx 6700 xt nitro doesn’t exceed 65c and it’s at 2850mhz also how did you push it to 2900mhz
Because you have to unscrew your gpu radiator, clean gpu chip and unput all thermal pads. After it, clean with hydroalcohol and put Upsiren U6 pro thermal putty on memories – vrm stages and drmos chip. For gpu chip put some Kooling Monster KOLD-01. After all that no more problems and true overclock possibilities 😉 It is the main story with my ROG STRIX RX6600XT 💘
