This is just outrageous. What a deal he got!

  2. TheCrayTrain

This is value village… whatever that is. Not goodwill. Goodwill sucks.

  3. Underrated_Users

I want to see if it boots though or if it does damage

    I recently paid 180 AUD for a 5600.

    This hurts me.

It’s easy to take a tag off of Value Village stuff and re-apply it to whatever you want. You can easily see the top-right corner was peeled off.

I can do the same thing with my 5090. /ragebait

Dont support value village and dont donate stuff there at all if possible they are a for profit corporation re selling the goods donated at almost brand new prices

i once got a modular evga 650w psu from goodwill for 14 bucks, the only problem is it was missing cables. I couldnt find them online, so i emailed evga where i could buy them, instead they asked for my address, and what cables i wanted, and sent them to me for free, without even checking if i had the psu. EVGA support ftw!!

I went to goodwill 2 weeks ago and found an ASUS mesh wifi system for $8. I looked it up and it was $300ish brand new. Never found a damn thing before that lol

    “Housewares Small Electrical”

Tag is from a toaster or kettle. Outta here with this fake for likes shit.

Calling bullshit on this one.  Need to see a receipt and a credit card statement to even consider believing it.

Sworn testimony from a store employee will also help your case…

  16. OwnPension8884

this is BS ain’t nobody donating a 7800x3d

  17. Just_Campaign_9833

The top right corner of the sticker shows that it was reapplied…

My local Goodwill had two AMD boxes on the shelf a few days ago and I just about had a heart attack. One was a 2700X box and the other was a 3400G. Both boxes just had the heatsink, no cpu inside. Both were $6.99. The 2700X had the Wraith Prism so I got that to have as a backup. The 3400G heatsink is the small aluminum only one so I skipped that. But again, I just about had a heart attack at first thinking they had cpus really cheap.

They also had an EVGA power supply, just loose, no cables or anything, and some NZXT AIO water cooler, again, just loose. Someone must have been clearing out their extra or old computer stuff so the store just slapped tags on these things and put them out to see if they sell. Oh, and there were half a dozen or so used 120mm fans too.

Damn, the one near me has like, a Voodoo 2 just sitting on the shelf for $39.99

  23. Acceptable_Cabinet53

I’ll take “Some shit that never happened” for $1,000 please, Alex.

  24. blightsteel101

Nah, goodwill is cracked though. I just got a couple dozen books over the weekend for, like, less than $50

  25. theallstarkid

We have a value village here in Houston.

  26. jonermon

Someone bought a tchotchke from value village, took the label off and slapped it on a 7800x3d and then posted it on Reddit for karma.

Bro just copped the biggest steal of the year?
