I’ve been playing PUBG for the past 6 years. It’s been an amazing journey — made a lot of memories, some great friends, and countless intense matches.
But lately, I’ve been feeling like it’s time to move on. The excitement isn’t the same, and I feel like I’m just playing out of habit rather than passion.
Part of me feels sad about letting it go after investing so much time, but another part thinks it’s necessary for growth and trying new things.
Anyone else been through something similar? How did you know it was time to quit? Would love to hear your experiences.

Take a break and take some time for realizing if it’s something that u r gonna miss or not.

Definitely ! It will be your best choice this game is dying day after day . Even i quit this game 2 years ago . But the fact is if you are a gamer then you will get addicted to another game .

I took a break when i reached the point when it wasn’t fun playing anymore. But then one day I came back with an my old friend , exploring everthing again and wanting to get the new items felt like the beginning of the game, just as exciting as when you’re a noobie. so i recommend just taking a break or if you really are done with it simply delete it, you can always go back if you ever miss it too muuuuch

Js gimme ur acc since you won’t use it anymore

  5. In my opinion, I think you should take a break and see how life is like without the game! I took a big break for about 2 years and came back and have had much more fun ever since. I think we tend to play the game and try not to quit because of all the time, money, and the friendships that we made but it’s up to you. Take a break, and check back and see how you feel.

i “quit” the game a couple of times, the most recent one was in 2022-23, didnt play for a year, as it was one of those periods when everyone thought the game was “dying” again. Installed the game again one day just to see if it really was dead and since then im playing nonstop for almost 2 years. Found a lot of new friends, got into wow-map creation, pdp skins creation, completing achievements that i considered impossible earlier. I know a lot of old players are leaving rn, but maybe you just need to take a break. Good luck to u 🙂

Take a break. This game is not dying, you need to refresh your friendlist and kick the inactive ppl

Unfortunately the game is moving towards its inevitable but slow death. Don’t get me wrong, pubgm is awesome — but devs killed the game by not progressing meta, updating maps continuously, and with too much unnecessary cosmetics.

Could you swap some collectibles with me please? I’d really appreciate it

The problem is, there is nothing better than pubg mobile.. certainly not on android.

    I bet you come back.

I feel the same. Been playing since season 2 and haven’t taken a break since. I have a fear of missing out such as RP rewards and other free obtainable stuff. Hard to let go :/

I left when crab fingers became a thing. I just don’t feel like putting in the effort to learn
