The casual sports gamer has ruined gaming for everyone else because no matter how low effort, bad, or stuffed to the brim with MTX these games are they will always do big numbers and that pushes the publishers to put them in all the other games.
Hard to be upset about a franchise of games I stopped playing around 20 years ago or sympathetic towards a fan base that has willingly continued to play them.

Soccer shouldnt even be considered a real sport, so I have no qualms with Soccer fans being ripped off.
Sports super fans are some of the dumbest people besides compulsive gamblers ( of which many sports fans also are ) and boomers who buy lots of lottery tickets, so it isnt surprising a corporation is grifting from them.
Find a real hobby. Both Golf and soccer are beyond cringe and the only reason soccer is a global phenomena is because it requires no sporting gear to play besides the ball itself and a patch of grass.
And for all of the salty soccer fans who dont like my opinion, get busy licking paint chips and sniffing glue, because only people that dumb would buy the same game year after year and then cry about beng ripped off as if youre not the very enablers empowering EA.

Unlike cars, computers, or the like. The capital needed to make good, competitive, and world spanning videogames is tiny. Small developers everywhere make videogames that ensnare consumers just as long as big developers do, or more.
And yet, masses still buy garbage thats against their own interests. Just because a celebrity that kicks a ball around in real life has their likeness on it.
And thats fine, let them persist. People can make bad decisions longer than it takes them to realize the negatives of it.
And if they never realize a negative, thats fine too.
Im just glad Im not in this economy anymore of just being blatantly disrespected by developers for giving them my money.
