I’m glad this was on Gamepass because I would never have bought this because nothing about it speaks to me.
But after playing it, damn, this game is pretty damn neat and I can’t wait to play some more.
Completely deserved. I bought the deluxe on steam even though I have game pass because it won’t always be on game pass.
Since there wasn’t an expansion pass in The deluxe edition, it’s safe to assume we get the entire game on release and there won’t be any DLC?

I know a lot of people can’t afford to pay full price and are just playing it on game pass, I was worried that that was going to hurt its sales. Also with oblivion coming out on the same day. Glad to be wrong!
Anyway, super happy to see it being successful. These types of AA games are the future of the industry. It’s really important that we support them, assuming if they are good. And based on reviews it’s excellent.
A AA game with AAA polish, for 50 bucks. We need more titles like this.
This game is a masterpiece and I haven’t even hit the overworld yet. Music alone hits so many emotions and the combat is refreshing as hell for turn based games.

Good game is good
I was really lucky and had a couple days off work to play this as it dropped. I’ve put about 25 hours in and I am loving it. Really great work by the team. Just about the only gripe I have is with some clunky or In my Opinion UI features, but the game itself is outstanding. Recommend to anyone who likes RPGs

Really like this game so far.
Wish that the engine is little bit more optimized (hopefully that will be patched up) and that’s some of the movement animations outside of the battles are a bit too stiff but overall a flawless execution on a brand new IP from a virtually unknown developer.

I was thinking oblivion would destroy its release but thankfully it hasn’t. Played the first 3 hours or so, it’s absolutely fantastic, does a great job mixing the familiar with the new and experimental stuff. Music is some of the best you’ll ever hear in a game.
It’s a rare master stroke in gaming it deserves to sell really well.
This is basically my lies of p/stellar blade for this year.

I didn’t even realize the game was $50. I was already going to buy it after I finish Indiana Jones but hell that price makes it even easier.
What’s truly impressive about this definitely not Indie studio game is there’s so few comments in here yet they echo the identical talking points every 33 minutes post has.
Indie studio and original IP have become the new marketing copy for these things.

I bought it yesterday on a whim after seeing all the love it was getting and Im glad I did, its beautiful and so fsr the story is great(i only just got to the second location you travel to) and cant wait to keep playing it and learning more
Though the dodge/parry windows are so wildly different between enemies Ive died way more in the opening hours of this than I have most other RPGs lmao
This game is incredible and only 50. Nintendo charges 90 for shitty 2006 Wii quality games that were lazily made and already antiquated the year they got released.
Buy it and support real game developers, not bullshit companies like Nintendo.

I’m not a big fan of turn based games and will ignore parrying as much as possible in combat focused games, so this game really doesn’t look like it’s for me. However, it’s nice to see something completely original from a new team make such a big dent in the gaming market.
I am very interested in playing it but even right now the oblivion remasters is being advertised to me right under your post lol. Like as I am typing here. They kind of got screwed out of potentially even more sales by the shadow drop. Not that they are hurting but just saying this game could have made even more grabby announcements if ES4 hadn’t dropped.
I’m looking forward to picking it up in a few weeks though once I get bored of oblivion for the 15th time. Sure it’s better looking but it’s still the same lol.
