I had no desire to play this game and didn’t felt attracted by it until I decided to give it a try and got immediatly hooked. The game has an amazing introduction, among the best I’ve ever seen.

I stopped the game but I wish I could be irresponsible and play all night, games that makes me feel like this are quite rare!

    Also, Baguette W

I’m always surprised how high sales are for games on gamepass.

Big win for smaller/shorter games made by reasonably sized studios. Hopefully the super high reviews and good sales alongside Astro Bot of last year get the big guys to rethink their priorities a bit but we’ll see I guess.

  4. JimmyNamess

God I hope this game knocks sales & awards out of the park. The devs really deserve it

This is awesome! I’ll be picking it up eventually. Just currently stopping the Mythic Dawn in Oblivion lol.

I won’t be surprised if this game sells a lot more copies in a few weeks.

Better facial animations than many games right now, it’s not my kind of game, but I’m very happy for their success.

Wow this is insane. A new game from a new studio selling 500,000 copies on one day WHILE being on gamepass. And it happens to a studio that deserves it. Bravo to the devs for such an incredible game and bravo to gamers for putting their money where their mouths are. 👏

Buying this as soon as I get some free time

This was on my radar after watching the trailer they released a while back. Things happened and I kinda forgot about it and didn’t know it was released already

2 days ago at 8am I had no idea this game existed. Now I’m like 5 hours deep into it already, and absolutely loving it.

  11. ShambolicPaul

Oh thank God. This game deserves every success

Good, I was a little worried for them since Oblivion came out of nowhere. Im only a few hours in, but can see this game just oozes excellence.

  13. Loving it , turn based with a souls-like sparkle

  14. Freethrowz69

Debating getting this because I’m usually not a big fan of turn based combat 🤔

  15. DeLongeCock

I’m so happy for them, this success will enable them to make games for years to come. I’m currently busy with Oblivion but I’m planning to play this in the near future.

Only gripe I have with it is that it doesn’t really support ultra wide monitors everything is so zoomed in. Other than that Holy hell expert is hard af

Gamepass is gonna hurt, I was going to preorder this game before i saw it was day 1 on gamepass, and I’m sure many who aren’t as enthusiastic will try it through game pass rather than purchasing it.

I hope it sells amazing despite the ease of access to it

    I’m so happy for them.

It’s been since RDR2 that I’ve had a gaming session longer than 2 hours. Spent 6 hours just dicking around in Act 1 yesterday and about 4 more today. I’ll probably stretch the game beyond the 60 hours advertised for full completion.

  19. Open-Swimmer-1755

I was dearly hoping this game would be as great as it sounded, and got positively blown away when I played it. I’m only ten hours in for now and haven’t quite finished Act 1, but the end of Spring Meadows and onwards has been a masterpiece, to say nothing of the introduction. Makes me proud that such a gem finally comes from my country. Hearing it’s succeeding is awesome news.

  20. Sambo_the_Rambo

I know nothing about this game but kinda want to buy it based on what everyone is saying. Time to add it to the backlog lol

  21. wicktus

Copies SOLD. This is a game on gamepass mind you.

Absolutely loved it, combats could benefit from some tweaks but overall it’s amazing for me, soundtrack and artistic design are really on point

  22. steflizz

Despite it releasing alongside a Goliath title like Oblivion, I’d say that’s done pretty well and it’s only going to pick up traction as more and more come off Oblivion, myself being one.

  23. TheSmashing

So this is where the og ubisoft devs went

  24. Neil_Patrick

Looking forward to playing it this weekend

  25. Vibingkoala90

This game touched me already just a few hours in and it’s like every damn frame is artwork! 10/10

  26. StarKnight29

I was worried it might be overshadowed by the Oblivion release but it’s so good to see it’s doing well. I’m playing it now and I’ve loved every minute of the game so far

  27. Sarigan-EFS

Well deserved. For me, it’s made the best first impression in a game since BG3, and I’ve played a bunch of stuff since then.

  28. Mando316

I wish this would send a message to the gaming industry but it’ll fall on deaf corporate ears.

  29. See, Ubisoft? a game, a good game, not a freaking theme park with a billion of desolate acres , a battle pass and hundreds of useless AI NPC’s

  30. I just love that great games sell well, and wish this trend only becomes stronger.

  31. bangarang_0

So excited to play this. I remember seeing the announcement last year and feeling overwhelmed that there is a spiritual successor of sorts to legend of dragoon and lost odyssey in terms of offense.  Then seeing the defensive options and realizing they are doing more then even super mario rpg. The high fidelity graphics just put the cherry on top. It really feels to me like the same hype I got when watching spiderman no way home when tobey and Andrew and all the villains show up.

  32. Aijin28

I forgot it was coming out, saw the brilliant reviews, watched the launch trailer, traded in some games then got a physical copy all in the space of 1 hour.

8 hours in, the game is firing on all cylinders, great combat, brilliant story and characters (already simping for Lune), wonderful art, and amazing music.

It’s really funny to see successful turn based games when Final Fantasy is trying to convince everyone that they need to leave turn based because no one wants it and they are failing miserably.
