I can sort of understand how did the first slide, although it's still kinda weird (because he was running forwards but then did a sideways slide which requires you to sprint-strafe first)
But the really weird shit is when he slides from side to side in 0:11 – notice how he slides and hits the wooden cabinet, and then INSTANTLY slides to the opposite site without any delay.
When I tried to slide that fast from side to side I couldn't do it because if I didn't sprint for at least half a second before trying to slide, my player would just crouch instead.
Does anybody know how to do this instant sliding shit? or is this guy hacking?

Do you have your tactical sprint assist delay set to ‘0’? And left stick deadzone to zero..? Try that
He bounced off the shelfs and preaimed and it continued his slide. That looked more like an accident than on purpose.
they have a dedicated slide button, so sliding is instant.
i have one too but i’m not very good with it so i don’t touch it.

He didn’t slide into the sink. He ran into it turned around and slid backwards out the door.
I already explained this in your previous post; it’s just omnimovement. He never stopped sprinting once he got in the bathroom because you can sprint in all directions. He never let go of either sticks.
It’s not an instant slide. It’s just omnimovement being a terrible mechanic.
The game is fucked. (The guy also was basically perfectly dead center chest even as you fell to the ground.)

All this non stop sliding in one of my pet peeves with the game. Its just fucking goofy seeing people slide NON STOP, id rather have people jumping than somehow increasing speed by sliding in the floor.
Mouse and keyboard have instant direction change.

As some others said, it’s just the omni movement but that’s the reason I don’t like it, I like fast paced movement but omni just makes normal movements to look weird or bugged, also I hate when people is laying down on some body or loot and they look like corpses and then they start shooting at you, with the normal movement at least you knew it was someone just prone

Late to the party but yeah I’m assuming has a dedicated slide button on his mouse I have one tested it out in private match figured out I can slide to the left slide to the right criss cross everybody clap your hands and now it’s like a diddy party I slide everywhere.

You are on controller but not everyone is. On MnK you can change instantly because you are not relying on auto sprint or sprint assist.
This is a perfect example of why PC and console need to be separated—and Aim Assist needs to be completely nerfed.
If the AA can be abused by having “the correct settings” or Aimbots abusing the code: then just nerf it, problem solved.
And then after that they can nerf the omnimovement, or at least give an aiming penalty for sweaty movement like this ^Fortnite has better game mechanics than this shit.
