According to the CEO, NiKo was in talks with Falcons for 6 months without G2 knowing during that period which included the time when G2 won Cologne.
And for additional context for those unaware regarding m0NESY and huNter, around the time when NiKo to Falcons was supposed to be a done deal in late 2023, two other rumors started to surface in which m0NESY was to depart for C9 (consisted of Boombl4, Perfecto, electronic, HObbit, and Ax1Le at the time) and huNter was to depart for Vitality to replace Magisk who was leaving for Falcons as well. The m0NESY to C9 rumor was the strongest as it lingered for months, and in his recent interview, m0NESY outright confirmed that it nearly happened.

I wish when he said that they asked him why he hasn’t landed a ropz or Jimphatt or Sjuush etc
Anyway, excited for the future rebuild also seems like s1mple speculation can be done now he outright confirmed it’s not happening so younger players and younger G2 it is then

Not exactly. Before NiKo decided to come back, hunter changed his mind, and G2 “closed the door” for m0NESY (he’s not for sale thing) using contract. He says m0nesy dealt with that: “decided to stay even if NiKo was going to leave.” So it seems like G2 wouldn’t let team to disband completely anyway.
And then, they all asked g2 to let NiKo come back on the team.
Hunter missed the chance.
It is funny to hear him complaining about poaching from C9 when ex-C9 manager also accused them of multiple cases of poaching.
