Metroid prime remastered was also a very good remaster, and reminds me of this situation lol. It was shadow dropped out of nowhere, high quality remaster, and only 40 usd
BOTW is neither an old game or a remaster.
It’s not a remaster, you’re just buying the same game for the same price and if you want you can spend an extra 10 bucks for somewhat useless features

A remaster in the literal sense, just an upscale, it should cost $30 bucks at best. A visual remake, which is the case here, should cost $40. So yeah, a little bit expensive for a 15+ years old game (and let’s not even talk about the DLC bullshit)

BOTW Switch 2 version is just a port. Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion remaster is a real remaster. Bethesda even included all the previous DLCs and expansion pack in this remaster with only the deluxe edition containing new premium items. Nintendo couldnt be bothered to include the DLCs for the BOTW Switch 2 version.
