    Do you bleed …?
“Yes sir in but in white colour”🤡

  2. If this is a real problem, I’m glad I didn’t buy one. I have no choice but to mount the GPU vertically as the mobo sits horizontally.

    ~~UFC JUST BLEED~~ ❌

    RTX JUST GREED ✅

The thermal putty solution they use on their 50 series this year is very viscous, when I took my 5090 waterforce WB apart, it was very soft but you could still form it, but I still repasted with my own putty and dont mount vertically tho

  5. This looks like it is about a specific brand of 5080 cards, not all 5080 cards.

I mean to be fair to ngreedia, this has nothing to do with them. It’s just aib having the smart idea to use putty instead of just pads. Most likely a very low quality thermal putty at that too.

I dread the day I’ll get a card with putty because I already know it’ll make me curse every god in existence once I’ll have to eventually repaste.

This is common in all vertical mounted GPU lol. Ugly anyway

Fuck I was gonna mount a black Aorus master 5080 vertically in a build. Is this common?

  9. OMG_NoReally

I have never had as much anixety in owning a device or a piece of hardware than I have with the fucking RTX 5080. Jesus christ, stop NVIDIA.

Is this happening to all 5080s? Im planning to get one soon, but I also use vertical mount in my y70 case :/

  11. comasxx

Wtf. They cheap out on thermal paste too ?

  12. KornInc

I’ll use thermal pads when I’ll need to repaste.

The AIB designs the cooler and decides what thermal conduction method to use, so this is an AIB problem, not an Nvidia problem – and it’s only exclusive to whichever AIB decides to use this type of low viscosity thermal putty.
