I’m surprised they didn’t fix this

  2. perrosandmetal78

Pffft, I don’t need silly hacks like this with my PS5. The stick drifts got so bad I just need to put the controller down and let it do its thing 😂

  3. pipboy_warrior

Console commands still work for Remastered, right?

  4. RJValdez216

I would suggest that you don’t do this. I did this stupid trick on my Xbox 360 with GTA V and it gave my controller stick drift

  5. allenpaige

Honestly, at that point, you might as well use console commands… The only difference is the amount of wear and tear on your system.

Similar trick worked in Yakuza Kiwami to farm money while sleeping (with the Meow shoes)

  7. seanferd

Yes! I accidentally wedged myself between the bedroom door in the Fire and Steel in Chorrol and have been leveling the last 30 min. Level 3 with sneak 61 lmao

  8. Wiestie

Anyone know if you can still climb floating paint brushes and dupe easily?

  9. qwertyMrJINX

I wouldn’t risk it with how flimsy modern controllers are.

  10. GushingLoveLava

Is the arrow dupe glitch still a thing?

  11. adept_ignoramus

I’d just go to an inn in Choral and point myself in a corner and tip my controller upside down with the movement staying.

Hm, surprised to see that it’s the same trick as for Metaphor Refantazio’s sword-surfing achievement!

I actually just found another easy way to level up sneak:

    > Go to Imperial City Prison
    > Ask the Guard to Visit a Prisoner.
    > Once the Guard opens the door, go down the stairs, turn around, tell the Guard the same and he will close the door.
    > Crouch and spam “E” (or whatever button on a controller) to pit pocket the prisoner.

Next cell over, pick the lock and sleep in the bed for an hour to level up.

Just maxed my sneaking today because of it!

  14. LolYouFuckingLoser

lol my friend is doing this too. said they hadnt made it out of the tutorial like 3+ hours in because they’re sneaking into a wall so they can have their ‘character creation’ save at the end gate with maxed sneak so all future characters will have it from the get-go lol

  15. Upper_Caramel_6501

Thought your controller was broke for a minute lol

  16. Badtyuo

Do you have to be near someone tell level sneak or can you do it anywhere?

  17. NoDinner7903

Crouch walking against a wall in the first dungeon…classic. Not sure why you need the right stick bound, but if it works it works

  18. may_be_indecisive

And people wonder why they get stick drift…

  19. Kdhr3tbc

I did this when I was a kid, got the unbreakable lockpick/repair hammer as quick as possible with guides. But this time….this time I’m playing the game straight up.

  20. eMan117

I legit did this as a kid. Loaded a save prior to exiting the sewers. Taped a control down so it was spamming conjure skeleton and sneak walking. Left for school. Came back and had level 100 skill in conjuration. Left the sewer first enemy (undead across the river) had like glass armour and I couldn’t do shit with my iron sword and skeleton that would get one shot by their glass sword

The nostalgia is flooding in. I thought i was a genius when I first thought of this in what, 2006?

  22. HighlightFun8419

Need to sprinkle some cheese on that controller. Ha

  23. GuyMansworth

What’s funny is even on PC when I can just use console commands or mod, I always did shit like leave weights on my keys similar to this because to me that never felt like “cheating” like simply typing a few commands in does.

  24. No-Crow2187

The “use skills to level them” seems so intuitive on paper. And then the reality of what gamers are like sets in

  25. We attack at dawn. We’ll use the old ways.

  26. despinato

You forgot to plug it in so it doesn’t auto shut off

  27. StructureLegitimate7

I know these games just allow you to exploit them but doesn’t it lose some of the fun? I remember I used the control panel to reset skills on pc on fallout 4 and it kind of just ruined the experience knowing I could just at any point have any skills I wanted on my character. To each their own I guess.

  28. ElmoTickleTorture

I’d always go to the inn right outside of the imperial city and sneak in the back room. Place a book on the joystick and run against a wall.

  29. Draftchimp

Core memory unlocked. Just seeing this opened up so many memories I had when I first started playing Oblivion. It’s crazy.

  30. Blarghnox

Doesn’t this make all the enemies scale though?

  31. PadrePedro666

I had just told someone about that trick.
